Big Band Tejano is a throwback to when Tejano bands had full horn sections and played beautifully orchestrated arrangements. So happy to play with them for the first time and keep the tradition alive!!

Juliana Sheffield is a singer/songwriter who has worked locally and internationally in many genres. She has performed, written, and recorded with jazz combos and big bands, modern dance companies, tango orchestras, rock bands, and electronic acts of all size and style, under a variety of monikers and disguises. She has been in avant-garde operas and toured with Cirque du Soleil, and sung on countless albums with artists far and wide. She lives in Austin, where she relishes the opportunity to collaborate with many of her favorite local artists.

Live On-AIR at Parker is a new series showcasing the outstanding jazz talents who live—and make music—in Austin. Live On-AIR is sponsored by Texas Jazz Society. Live On-AIR at Parker programming is presented every Tuesday night at Parker Jazz Club. Emphasizing inclusivity and accessibility, the club—typically limited to guests 21 and up—will be open to audiences of all ages. Tickets from $10 - $15.
